Make Ahead Healthy Protein Waffles

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 Cup All purpose flour
  • 1/2 Cup Vanilla Protein Powder We use Orgain Organic Protein or Vanilla FlavCity smoothie protein
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/8 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 Cup Milk Almond milk works too!
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil Coconut oil melted can be substituted

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together dry ingredients.
    Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until well combined.
    Add 1/4 cup batter to mini waffle makers. Cook until golden. Enjoy hot!
  • For freezing:
    Allow waffles to fully cool. Add to a ziplock bag or an airtight container. Freeze for up to 3 months.
    To reheat, warm in the microwave or pop into the toaster to crisp them up!
