Some cucumber sandwiches are loaded up with herbs, sour cream, spices and even lemon. I am a bit of a cucumber sandwich purist and wanted to create a recipe that was really simple! While this recipe contains only just a handful of ingredients, I think you will love the flavor combo and the balance of textures.

How to make Simple 5 Ingredient Cucumber Sandwiches
- Whip cream cheese, mayo and dill. Sprinkle with a pinch of course salt.
- Thinly slice one English cucumber.
- Spread filling thinly on 2 slices of bread.
- Top one slice with 9 cucumber slices.
- Assemble the sandwich and cut off the crust.
- Cut the sandwich in half diagonally, or into 4 rectangles or even 4 small triangles.
- Chill until you’re ready to serve, or serve immediately.

- 1 8oz Cream cheese Slightly softened but still chilled
- 1/4 Cup Mayonaise
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Dill
- 1 English cucumber
- 1 Loaf White Bread
- Pinch of course salt if desired.
Instructions
- Allow cream cheese to slightly soften (you still want it to be chilled)Whip cream cheese, mayo and dill together. Sprinkle with a pinch of course salt if desired. Thinly slice one English cucumber. Spread a thin layer of filling on 2 sides of the bread. Top one slice with 9 thinly sliced cucumbers. Add top layer of bread to assemble the sandwich. Cut off crust and slice sandwich in half diagonally so you have 2 triangle tea sandwiches. If you'd like you can also slice the sandwich into 4 long rectangles or cut triangles in half to make 4 total mini's out of each sandwich. Chill again if desired, or serve immediately.
