Easy Cinnamon and Sugar Pie Crust Treats

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Cups All purpose flour
  • 1 Cup (2 sticks) Salted butter cold
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 7-8 Tablespoons Ice water

Cinnamon topping

  • 1/4 Cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400° In a food processor, combine flour, butter, salt, and sugar. Mix for just a minute to combine.
  • Add water and blend until dough comes together. If it is too dry, you can add a little more water.
  • Generously sprinkle your counter with flour and turn dough onto counter top.
  • Roll dough out and use a pizza slicer to cut strips (you can also use cookie cutters if you want!)
  • Place dough strips onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (spray with non-stick cooking spray if you do not have parchment).
  • Prick each strip several times with a fork, this will help the dough not bubble up while baking.
  • Mix your cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle to cover each strip.
  • Bake for 13-14 minutes, treats should be lightly golden.
  • Cool and serve
