Easy Queso Cheese for Nachos

Equipment

  • medium saucepan
  • rubber spatula

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Pepper jack cheese
  • 1/2 lb white american cheese
  • 1 4.5 oz can chopped green chiles drained
  • 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp ground cumin

Instructions

  • Add the cheese to a medium saucepan and turn heat to medium-low.
    Pour in the evaporated milk.
    Drain the can of green chiles and add them to the pan.
    Sprinkle in the cumin and stir until the cheese is melted.
    When mixture is smooth and well combined, serve warm on nachos or with chips for dipping.
