Easy Fruity Pebble Mini Donuts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 Cups All purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 10 Tablespoons Salted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk If you do not have buttermilk you can add one tablespoon of lemon juice to a half cup measuring cup. FIll remainder of cup with milk and allow to sit for 5 minutes.

Frosting glaze

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 2 3/4-3 Tablespoons milk
  • Fruity Pebble cereal for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Plug in Dash Donut maker and spray with non-stick spray.
    Mix sugar and butter until blended. Add eggs and vanilla. Add half of the dry ingredients and then add half of the buttermilk. Add the rest of the dry ingredients and then the rest of the buttermilk.
    When batter in smooth and well mixed, add it to a piping bag or large gallon ziplock bag. Cut the corner of the bag.
    Pipe batter into the donut maker. Allow donuts to cook for 1-2 minutes or until golden. Remove donuts and add to a cooling rack.
    Make glaze. Dip the donuts into the glaze and top with fruity pebble cereal. Allow donuts to set for a few minutes. Enjoy!
    *Donuts can be frozen after baked. Store in an airtight ziplock. Allow to defrost, reheat and frost.
