This 5 ingredient appetizer is so delicious and easy to make! It’s a must-serve at your next gathering.
Growing up during the holiday season my mom would always make her famous pineapple onion cheeseball appetizer. And guess what? I am probably guilty of eating half of it myself. Ha! I am not kidding when I say this unique flavor combo is absolutely addicting and is sure to win you the blue ribbon at your next gathering!
This cheeseball is perfectly balanced by the combination of cheddar cheese, onion mix and pineapple. The cream cheese ties it all together and helps perfectly marry these amazing flavors. I cannot wait for you to try it!

Tips for the perfect Pineapple Onion Cheeseball appetizer:
- Make it ahead! As the cheeseball sits for a few hours, it really develops in flavor.
- Set this cheeseball out on a platter with a variety of crackers, and veggies like carrots, celery and olives for a beautiful party appetizer.
- This would make such a fun housewarming or holiday gift for a neighbor or friend instead of taking a plate of cookies. What a fun and unique treat to give!
- Be sure to cream your cream cheese before adding anything else to it to ensure that it will evenly incorporate all of the ingredients.
- Drain and press your pineapple with a paper towel to remove all juice before adding to the cream cheese mixture.
