In this post I’m sharing my recipe for fresh blackberry limeade and how you can set up your own refreshing drink bar in your kitchen for summer!
One of the things my kids most look forward to when I decorate for the seasons is something fun and whimsical. Remember my little Christmas cocoa bar?
I love creating intentional spaces and seasonal decor that the kids will remember as they grow. I had the idea to create this permanant little limeade/summer drink bar in our kitchen and I got started right away!
How to create a summer kitchen bar:
- Display a jar of pretty paper straws
- Set out some fun cups or jars on a tray or cake stand
- DIY a fun sign on a chalkboard or order this fabulous summer sign from Teal Barn signs HERE!
- Have a pitcher of lemonade, limeade or a fun summer drink ready-made in the fridge. This way you can invite guests for a drink and just grab it out of the fridge to serve while they get their glass and straw!
- Garnishes are so fun and pretty! I love to garnish my limeade with a little lime slice and a fresh sprig of mint from the garden.
- Add apothecary jars. I love apothecary jars because they are fun and give an old fashioned candy store vibe. I love to add candies that match the color of my sign or the dish towel to add to the presentation. These also work well for displaying the colorful straws.
