Jump to RecipeI am SO excited to share this recipe today. Why? Well, because for me, food is an experience! I LOVE when I can make a dish that gathers people to the table and encourages laughter, good conversation and best of all, words like “oh, I need more of that!”. This easy garlic and herb olive oil dip will do just that.
This appetizer is so fun and simple to whip up. It takes just minutes to add the olive oil, herbs and garlic together. You can really take it up a level by adding delicious greek olives as a garnish.
Tips for making easy garlic and herb olive Oil dip:
- This dipping oil is so delicious when you saute your garlic! I recommend mincing your garlic or using the store bought minced-in-a-jar version. Just add a tiny bit of olive oil to the pan and saute the garlic on medium heat JUST UNTIL it becomes fragrant. It will burn quickly so watch it close!
- If you want to store leftovers, just cover the oil or pour it into a container with a lid. When you’re ready to use it again just remove it from the fridge and give it a good shake. Allow it to come to room temp before eating.
- I LOVE adding lots of finely grated fresh Parmesan cheese to this dip. It really adds the most delicious salty and creamy bite. I highly recommend it! To really level up this dip, drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Having delicious bread to pair with this recipe makes all the difference! I would highly recommend Artisan Bread , Country Loaf, or this recipe for my favorite ever French Bread!
