Today I am sharing our Red and White Christmas Mantel and what inspired this whimsical look for the holiday season!
If you’ve seen our Nostalgic Christmas Home Tour or our Whimsical Christmas Table then you know my love of red at Christmastime! I wanted to incorporate this beautiful new sign from Teal Barn Signs and of course include my little thrifted Putz houses.
I love making Christmas lighthearted and magical for my kids. Using cherry red always brings me such joy! I wanted to create a mantel that felt whimsical almost like a little village floating on a cloud of Christmas bulbs.
After playing around a little, this look was created! I added the small bottle brush trees very last and they make me so happy. I encourage you to slow down and enjoy the process of setting up your Christmas decorations! If you are feeling pressured or rushed, they will become a chore to you. Step away and wait until you have a quiet few minutes to create. Most importantly, let some special meaning come through in what you’re doing!
