If you love a traditional Christmas color scheme, this post is for you! I am excited to be sharing not only this year’s Red and White Christmas Décor, but lots of ideas from Christmas’ past, too!
This post will be very picture heavy (yes, please!) I really want it to feel like you’re scrolling through a fun Christmas ideas magazine. I hope you find some inspiration and feel welcomed into our home for the holiday season.
Together, always. This year’s Christmas tree
In case you missed the meaning behind my Christmas tree styling this year, you will want to check out this post! Red and White Christmas Tree. After facing devastating loss this year, I needed to find some reasons to make our Christmas décor really meaningful.
Red and white Christmas decor: Our Christmas Hutch
I love decorating this hutch each year with a collection of little red and white Christmas trinkets. This year I added a Mr. and Mrs. Claus (I found them at Hobby Lobby!) I love happy their little expressions.
I also added a bowl full of very old red bulbs given to me by my grandmother. I love thinking about the many many years of Christmas Eve’s spent in her home, and the warm and exciting feeling that existed there.
Cheer around every corner
I love decorating each corner of our home for the holidays. This was last year’s mudroom look, and it makes me so happy each time we walk in the back door! Yes, there are usually shoes and backpacks strung all over the floor, ha.
This year I added a few simple things to transform our guest bath for Christmas. I found a cute soap dispenser, a little bath mat, some bath towels, and a little Christmas sign (behind the door).
DIY Cocoa Station
I had so much fun creating this DIY cocoa station as a new addition to our Christmas kitchen this year! I first ordered a raw wood microwave cart from here, then added some legs from Lowes, painted it a Christmas green (Deep Varidian from Home Depot Behr paint and primer in one) and finally, decorated with the cutest accessories!
The cute Santa meter is from @12Timbers. You can find it here.
Some of the accessories, like these mini Santa mugs, the pink cake stand and the nutcracker are from Hobby lobby. My cute paper straws, mallows and paper cups are from here (click the link below to shop).
