I started making this Healthy 7 Seed Wheat Bread when I was newly married! Why has it taken me so long to share it with you!? For some, bread making is very intimidating. Let me be the first to tell you, it can take practice!
However, there are few things more rewarding than putting work into developing a soft dough that turns into fresh golden loaves that fill your home with the most amazing scent! It is very rewarding to be able to ditch the bread from the store for loaves made from scratch.

I love making this recipe on an afternoon when I have some things to catch up on at home between rise times. Before you know it, you have 4 delicious loaves baking! This recipe makes it easy to have extra to share with a friend or neighbor, too. The loaves freeze well if you want to make your bread for the month and pull out one loaf each week.
My kids usually can’t even wait for the bread to cool before they beg for a warm slice with butter. The kitchen smells so delicious!
This bread freezes well, and it also stays soft for several days on the counter. We love eating it with butter, jam or honey, or using it as a side for soup or bread for homemade BLT sandwhiches!

FAQ’s for Healthy 7 Seed Wheat Bread
- Can this recipe be cut in half if I don’t have 4 loaf pans? Yes! This recipe can be split right in half to make 2 loaves. Rise and baking time should remain the same.
- What are the best pans to bake this bread in? You can use anything you have but I highly recommend these loaf pans for bread baking if you are in the market! I use them for my banana bread and chocolate chip pumpkin loaves too!
- Do I have to use that many seeds in my recipe? No! You don’t even have to use any seeds if you don’t want to. I love the texture this Raw Super 7 Seed Mix adds, but you are welcome to use any seed variety and it does not have to be the full measurement the recipe calls for.
- Can these loaves be frozen? Yes! I would suggest allowing the loaves to fully cool, then you can wrap them in plastic wrap and place inside a gallon freezer zip lock bag. To thaw, remove from the freezer and allow to come to room temperature.
