I love using a planner, it helps me stay organized and remember things! It’s where all of our appointments and special dates are written.
The trouble is, sometimes looking at a whole month of planning at once is really overwhelming.
After experiencing some anxiety about all all of our to-do’s this month, I decided it would be best for me to sit down and simply plan a week at a time. I have found this routine to really help calm my nerves and worries about the busier months ahead. I decided to create a free printable for you to use, if you find yourself in need of the same mental comfort!

Lists have always helped me to feel more organized. I like having a simple piece of paper I can make notes on, and cross off when things are done. It’s just good for my brain.
I created a small “meals” box on this printable, so you can make a plan to refer to throughout the week. This process has truly worked well for my family!
Planning weekly meals helps so much! Why?
- Saves you from the pressure of wondering what to do when your family is ready to eat.
- Saves so much money!
- It’s healthier to cook and eat at home.
- Saves stress because you can plan for groveries and know you have everything on hand.
- Encourages family to gather around the table for quality time together.
We spend 1/3 the amount of money eating at home vs when we eat fast food, not to mention the bonding that takes place when we get to gather as a family around the table.
