Today I am sharing some fun and simple, easy Valentine’s day DIY ideas. Since having kiddos, we always stay home on Valentine’s and make it a fun family evening. My kids always get excited when I add a few pink or red touches around the house to make the holiday feel special.
Make home special for Valentines
We love to make a fun little tablescape for Valentines and we either write our kids notes with all of the things we love about them, or we have our kids write notes to each other. I like making special desserts and treats or foods that match Valentine colors. I love that Valentine’s Day is such a fun opportunity to take time to tell someone special to you how much you care about them!
Easy Valentine Kitchen DIY Tray
This kitchen tray is simple but makes a big impact and add just the perfect dose of color for Valentine’s day. I LOVE using my faux tulips, they look so realistic! They give me such a mental boost while it’s still snowy out.
I found this little m&m jar and heart bowl from Hobby Lobby, but I’ll link some similar here!
Paper straws are always such a fun way to bring in a pop of color or pattern to any seasonal decor.
I also LOVE my mango wood tray, it has beautiful shape and character, perfect for a coffee table, kitchen table serving tray or any centerpiece.

Easy Lover’s Tulip Basket Decor DIY
This quick and easy DIY was fun and simple to put together. You could hang it on your front door, a wooden blanket ladder, or like I did, on a row of hooks in my kitchen. I found the basket at Hobby Lobby and the faux tulips below.
