What’s the difference between the King Flock and Queen flock?
I get this question a lot! I will tell you right up front, I prefer the queen over the king. The king is 57″ wide where the queen comes in at 67″ wide. The king and prince have more uniform and consistent, full branch size, where the queen, I feel, looks a bit more realistic. Her branches are smaller in diameter and more shapeable, so you can fluff it into that more unruly, realistic branch shape. See the pictures below? The side by side makes it easier. Today I am thrilled to show you some of my very favorite Christmas trees, 3 of which I myself have. I have always had a love for flocked trees, they are so gorgeous! But last year I added something different in our home, this 9′ Noble Fir. It reminds me of a stunning tree from a special forest we camp in during the summer time.
The design for the tree was unplanned but I love the way it all came together!

I have owned King of Christmas trees for many years now. I can vouch for their amazing quality and tell you that I especially love that their flocked trees do not shed after initial set up. Thinking Ahead
I can’t help but let my mind wander toward Christmas. This has been a really hard year of loss and grief for our family. The Christmas season always whispers “let your hear be light”. It’s wonderful to think about creating a space in our home that helps us feel full of whimsy and joy. Here is a mood board of a few things I’ll be incorporating into my décor this holiday season. Looking for Realistic Garland? Here are my two favorites! (Act fast, they always sell out by end of october)
I absolutely LOVE this realistic pine garland. I used it on my Christmas Tablescape last year, as well as in my mudroom. It is gorgeous and adds a vibrant green texture to your décor.
I LOVE using cedar garland in my Christmas décor. Real cedar garland is lovely but it dries out so fast and makes a big mess. Here is my very top choice for faux cedar garland (act quick, this one always sells out early!)
Update* this year I ordered two of these stunning pine tree garlands! They are so beautifully detailed and add stunning texture to a mantel or draped over a mirror, or on a console table. They are under $40! I would suggest 4 for a full mantel garland.
