Holidays with children brings such a whimsical spirit to our home. Using traditional Halloween colors, I created this ghoulish-themed tablescape so that we can gather together and enjoy this fun and festive holiday.
This year my kids have been really excited about Halloween. I love adding little touches around the house that bring a spooky and whimsical Halloween feel. I created this tablescape in hopes that we can gather as a family for a fun “ghoulish gathering” feast on Halloween night. It will be so fun to add foods that go along with this theme!
I think I’ll whip up a batch of my favorite caramel apples with some fun Halloween sprinkles.
This table was so easy to put together! I love layering and adding different colors and textures to my tablescapes. As you can see, I had a lot of fun with each place setting by adding a little cupcake pedestal and a small witch’s kettle to each plate. These will be fun to fill with candy corns on Halloween night.
For the centerpiece, you may recognize my DIY wood planter box . It was so easy to make, and I have used it for many different holiday tables!
Normally I don’t use orange or black in my decor, so this traditionally-colored Halloween tablescape really brought a fun challenge. I loved incorporating the orange tones in my fall leaves on the console table.
These little bats have been so fun to decorate with, you may remember them from last year’s $10 tablescape! I love the texture and bold color they add to this neutral spot.
